I don't think it would take much time to decide to put them under something.
Doesn't necessarily have to be a museum roof at this point. I live in
Upstate NY and snow, etc plays havoc on our jewels let alone what it does to
historically significant artifacts. They like to play up their history, why
not try to save some of it. They are certainly in a much better position
than any of us.
