[A/S] 1999 25 foot Safari repair
I have a 1999 Safari and the bathroom sliding door top track has pulled away from
the ceiling. The screw that hold that track to the ceiling has stripped and isn't
holding.
Have other Safari owners had this problem? If so, how have you solved it? I'm
thinking of squirting epoxy into the hole and rethread the screw into the epoxy when
the eposy dries. However once I do that there "isn't any turning back" ... once that
epoxy is there it is there to stay.
An additonal problem is that the horizontal screws that come from inside the
bathroom to that end of the track have pulled out. As a repair, an oak strip could be
put along side the track over lapping onto the walls that are on each ends of the
track. But I don't think that will look very good.
Any thoughts?
