[A/S] Vinyl tile as an alternative

Hi all:
Inspite of a lot of cautionary advice we decided to try the better 
grade of vinyl tile as an alternative to rugs or roll floring...So far 
no regrets..The trailer has been hot enough to cause whatever 
develment heat is going to do and we show no lifting etc...

The advice to use the latex primer was followed and was good advice... 
You can't always count on the sales person to advise you in the 
preparation of the floor for laying the tiles...We did not spend a lot 
of time smoothing the floor, but tried to sweep anything loose... I 
would use a filler if you find any big nicks in the subfloor...We 
chose a pattern with a dark edge which hides any opening of the seams.
.So far looks pretty good...Mary plans to move her Swiffer to the 
trailer, or get another...You spend a lot less time cleaning, 
especially if you spill something....The vinyl stops at the door to 
the hall and rug is being replaced with a nice Berber remnant..($20.
