I used a good quality one from Lowe's, really don't remember which 
one.  The adhesive was good but the surface was not properly 
prepared.  It is attractive and easy to keep clean.  We use throw 
rugs on it and take them out and shake them to remove the majority of 
the dirt.  We still have carpet in the bedroom everywhere else there 
is tile.
The 1/4 helps keep the floor from flexing.  I wish we had used it on 
the 94.
