Actually, I have found several web sites that indicate this scam (not 
with trailers).  Most important, I have talked to the bank, and wired 
money is not a done deal.  The money can "go bad" 30 days later.  I 
found a gentleman that had a sale (not a trailer) that money was 
transferted.  30 days later, the bank removed the funds from his 
account.  Something had happended and the funds had failed. 

I suppose I could take the money transfer and then keep the trailer 
for a year to make sure the money is mine, but I don't think anyone 
will go for that {:)

I sent the gentleman a note back saying that I was advised by my bank 
to have the funds delivered via curiour, cash only.  I do not expect 
to hear from them soon  {:)
