Thanks Nick.  I may have some good news. I towed the trailer for almost 2 
hours today, first time since the servicing, and the truck behaved flawlessly.  
It shifted when it was supposed to and did nothing I could feel that it 
shouldn't have.  I'm guardedly optimistic.

I do not have a tranny temperatire gauge, but will see about getting one next 
week.  

If I have been spared this time, I'll be sure not to let that overcooking 
happen again.
