You have to join the WBCCI, VAC is an intraclub of WBCCI

Once a year,

WBCCI is once a year too. Usually you join a local unit ( or the 
Washington DC unit which has folks from all over, many with Vintage rigs)
So you pay WBCCI $45 a year . plus the cost of your unit membership. And 
$20 for the VAC on top of that.

Why ? To me, the VAC is worth all the rest of the money. Also, 
insurance for caravans and rallies would be prohibitive without them.

It's a social thing. If you like people, like to talk, like to find out 
about fixing and using vintage, then it will be worth every penny.

If not, then it might not be worth it. Your call.
