Jim,
I have a '99 F250 Super Duty, gas engine. It has 117K miles. Only
thing I have done is put in the gas and oil and one set of tires. I only
recently purchased an Airstream, but I routinely pull a 16' equipment
trailer with tractors, Jeeps, etc. I frequently have equaled the 5K pounds
of weight they say my Airstream carries and I have never had any problems.
Conservatively, I've used this truck to pull a trailer 20K miles.
