Re: [A/S] New 34' suggestions
Howdy All,
We're back from our vacation - with a new voltage
meter. As I understand the little thing, as long as
it reads over 109 and the red dot in the upper right
corner is lit I'm OK. The A/C worked fine the rest of
the trip, and I replaced the breaker switch. Cooling
is still an issue, or at least the definition of
what's cool. It was 96 outside and 87 inside. Not
cool for this Texas boy.
This has helped us make a decision that we've been
pondering for awhile. We're going to move up to a
34', and get the bedroom A/C option. The new dealer
here in San Antonio is eager to handle the order, and
seems to have arrived at a reasonable beginning offer.
I do plan to check with Billy Sims in Lubbock, and
Billy Pollard in Mississippi to see if they can
provide a better price/financing package.
I know that Maurice and some others have the 34', and
I'd like to know what they would add to their order or
remove from it if they had the option. I don't think
we need the oven, but my wife is not sure how the
convection oven/microwave will work in its place. I'm
also considering getting the Hensley hitch, but am
still ambivalent about it. So, if anyone with a 34'
and a Hensley can provide input I'd appreciate it.
I'll be dragging the trailer with my F250 PSD so I
feel I'll have the right truck for the task. I'd also
appreciate hearing what towing differences y'all
encountered when towing the 34' for the first few
times.
We look forward to your input.
