That is real "customer service".  I think we all expect our Airstreams to 
perform wherever we want to use them.  The factory owes you a better answer than 
that.  If this problem was reported to Airstream before your warranty expired, 
they should still be working to fix the problem.  

I had a A/C condensate leak problem that the factory finally corrected this 
spring.  They did it under warranty and the Airstream is a 1999.  They had 
attempted repairs twice before while the warranty was still in effect.

If your schedule allows, I would suggest going to Jackson Center and giving 
them the opportunity to correct the problem.  If necessary, make "a lot of 
noise".
