as you say yabut
you can't plug your shorepower into an inverter (DC voltage) as your converter
does not like that coming in on an AC circuit.  
Shore power is 110. Your intellipower takes 110 in and then turns it into 12v
for those circuits and to charge the batteries.

dogbones are really for different amperage plugs - ie, 15a, 30A, 50A, etc. but
all of them are 110VAC.
