if 100W will do the batteries, then 1000W will more than do your purpose.
also, the 1kw is smaller, lighter and quieter.  fuel lasts longer, yada.
all the items you mention can/do run on 12VDC or batteries  so simply pick up an
inexpensive genset from yearend Homer specials and spend your money on a pair or
more of GlassMat/Optima Blue Tops.

I would not go with a propane fueled genset but rather, a diesel or whatever the
fuel is that your tow runs on.  finally, I would look for a still better deal as
1kw is more than you need to run the appliances and charge your batteries.  a
500W would be more than necessary and you are now talking something that you can
stick under your bed in a side compartment and pull out, set on the tongue or ??
and plug it in to your umbilical.  in fact, you can run a TV or your PC off
these also, using an inverter which heartlandofamerica.com is selling for
pennies. get the 800W.

One last thing, I was just in Frye's a couple of weeks ago and they had some
3'x18"? solar panels for about $150?  I assume they were about a watt/$ but
don't remember.  Anyway, be on the look out for such and add a battery monitor
from Heart.  Again, you can stick this thing on top of your front window rock
guard (raised of course) and plug it into your battery compartment and your
batteries.  THAT will do a heckuva charge and leave you without dependence on
fuel for your little genset.  If you can afford it, go both ways for boon
docking.  If you are going to be in the desert or Western states, get a small
swamp cooler for your trailer.
They do EAT water though!!!  but they will really cool your trailer!!

That is one more repair project I need to do, install my batteries and convert
my univolt to my Inteliwat or whatever that thing is called. still need the
Heart monitor and am still looking for a deal on that.
