[A/S] Re: Verizen cellphone service-vs-AT&T Wireless
Dick,
I've been using Verizon's Mobile Office since last September and have been
really happy with it, especially since January. I am using a Kyocera phone that
I paid about $100 extra for I think and I think I also paid about $85 for a CD
that installed a program and also included a connecting wire. I don't pay any
extra for the service above my regular rate, and that includes free nights and
weekends. I've used the service in Delaware, Texas, Louisiana, and Florida from
the Panhandle to Key West and have had very satisfactory results this year. Last
fall I used it in Florida and had successful connections pretty much just on
weekends. I was surprised that I was able to get online this time even when I
had no signal bars at all. Sure makes traveling a whole lot better when I can
still do my email and online banking.
