[A/S] What about the hitch height on this 3500 4x4 Dodge diesel truck

You guys and gals that are using these "tall" trucks to tow your AS with - 
how do you deal with the hitch height difference?  Looks like the hitch 
receiver is MUCH taller than the AS factory designed the AS coupler for. My 
present '97 Dodge 2500 mates pretty well with my '91 34 ft Ltd, but the 
receiver on this new tall 4x4 is probably 6-8 inches higher. Looks like the 
trailer will tail-drag using my present hitch bar setup. I can only adjust 
maybe 2 inches with my present hitch bar

I see that Reese sells a "L"-shaped hitch bar that will allow several 
inches of drop (PN 54917 at
  http://www.reese-hitches.com/wd_shanks.htm ).

  Is that the only solution? Looks like the stresses on that bar from 
normal trailer bucking would flex the receiver on the truck quite a bit.

You guys use something like this, or just let it tail-drag?
