That short hose is what I connect my campground water supply to.

Now, assuming yours is the same; just unscrew it and replace it.  It has all
standard hose fittings.  Or if you don't mind reaching further in, simply
screw your incoming water hose to the terminus at the tank.

Sounds like you're doing okay on the gold coast...  I was down the thruway
y'day but saw no A'str'ms.
