I have a 92 Dodge cummins diesel with a 5 speed manual Before I had a suberan 
with an auto trans.
I find the biggest provlem parking is that thes modle dodge is prone to 
clutch chatter in reverse. other then that I have had no provlems. the auto was 
easier to park but the didderence is not that much. If buying a new rig I would 
probaly go manual.
