Jack -

Two things with the Jordan Research Ultima 2020:

a) if your new vehicle has the new type power-adjustable pedals, you may
need a special mounting bracket for the cable to the brake pedal.

b) it is a simple matter to unplug the harness connector when not in use,
but i believe the instructions are talking about disconnecting the cable to
the brake pedal, to save wear and tear on that part of the mechanism. It's
very simple to do - you'll see when you install it.
