Re: [A/S] New Truck Time Questions

Dodge now makes the one ton model with single rear wheels - either short or
long bed is available.

Also, their new HO diesel engine (still a Cummins) is _much_ quieter than
the standard Dodge Cummins diesel. I test drove one last week. It was
actually quieter than the Duramax to my ear! From what I read in the specs,
looks like 3.71 is the lowest ratio available for Dodge1 ton diesels.

Dodge recommends against installing a "jake brake" with the automatic
transmission, but OK with the stick shift.

A tip - if a dodge might be in your future, join your state's "Farm Bureau"
(find them online) NOW. 30 days after joining, you can get a certificate
good for an additional $500 off on the Dodge trucks. It is Real money - you
don't even tell the dealer until closing time. membership costs around $30-50.
