This really sounds like a gimmick to me.  Centrifugal
force would send the beads to that point furthest away
from the center, and a tire out of round would develop
a greater imbalance.

Further, if the beads really worked, car companies
would be installing them at the factory.  Perhaps I'm
unduly pessimistic about the advertising claims I see,
but I'd want substantial proof before I tried them.
