Re: [A/S] Jackson Center
My advice is to arrive the day before. You can get
there any time. The way it worked when I went there,
even though we had an appointment time it was first
come first served for those with appointments. The
process was you go in the service center as soon as
the doors open, sign the sheet and they take you in
that order (people appointments are taken first then
they take the walk ins). You can wait in their
waiting area at that point.
Get there the day before and check on the process it
may have changed. They will come out to your site
with a tractor and pull your trailer into the service
bay. Make sure you have electric water and sewer
disconnected prior to going into the service center or
be prepared to do the unhooking when they head out for
your trailer (although they may not tell you when they
head out). Since we had 2 dogs with us my wife stayed
in the trailer with them. She called me from the
waiting area on our two way and I ran out and did a
quick disconnect of the utilities.
There is a resturant/motel next door to the service
center, food is marginal. There is a great resturant
and bar about a mile west of the intersection of the
interstate highway that you exit to get to Jackson
Center. They have great fried chicken.
