I find these on the SOB motor homes that I rent to hit the road with my 
parents.

Although rental units take a beating, I still think they are not very 
well made. They are on a really tight cable to keep them close to the 
window, and don't go up or down all that smoothly.

I don't know how you would clean them except to vacuum them.

There are two parts to the shade, the bottom half is translucent and the 
rest of it is darkening. So you go lower it just to the sill for light, 
and thenlower it more to get the darkening part down.

Still can't spy on the neighbors, and vinyl mini blinds are way cheeper.
