Hunter,
 I took my drapes off and just took them to a local clothes cleaner. They 
even pressed them. They look as they did when new. It cost me some change 
though, I think about $70 (4 years ago) to do all of them. The plactic things 
and elastic didn't get hurt a bit. I don't remember if they dry cleaned or 
washed them. What ever, it was worth it.
