Tim,

I have had several types of window coverings through the years and the most
satisfactory  are the "good"roll up blinds.  If you have good rollers left
from the blinds  you can make new covers from many kinds of fabric or
plastics.  Go to a sewing store and tell them your problems.  I'm sure they
could help you.  At an Interior decorating place they could order the heavy
vinyl embossed material like the older AS used.
