Jason,

The Land Yacht is a trim level like Excella or International.  The
Safari is a model and the length varies from 22 to 23 on the older
models.  What year are you looking at?

Our 1979 Safari is 23' and has the front couch on the front wall,
other Safaris have the couch on the street side or a dinette.

If you look at www.vintageairstream.com/archives/index.html you will
see pictures of most trailers made from the 1940's to 1978 and this
might help you sort out the differences.  This website is by RJ Dial
who is also the webmaster for the Vintage Airstream Club, another good
source of information about older Airstreams.
