I think you misunderstood my question.  When I do a search for "Hot 
Shot," what comes up is something by Sunbeam that looks like a 
little coffee maker and goes for $25.  I don't think that is what 
you're talking about.

Who makes the one you plan to get?  Do they have a web page?  Is it 
a stand-alone unit or does it work in conjunction with your existing 
water heater?  Since I'll be towing with a '95 Ranger STX (rated to 
tow 5600 lbs - yeah, right) I want to cut down the weight as much as 
possible, hence I want a unit that will replace the water heater 
entirely.
