Re: [A/S] Tankless Water Heaters Again
Joseph, I had experienced a problem with one of those shower heads that may
or may not be helpful to your situation. Frequently while traveling and not
hooked into a city water line, I use my water tank and onboard water pump to
take showers.
I noticed that my pump began to act erratically when the shower was in use
but, not at the sink or toilet. I dismantled the shower head and took the
restrictive water disc out. After that I had no more problem. I guess it can
cause too much back pressure on the pump and the pump sees it as a closed
valve and turns itself off till the demand is there again. This happens
rapidly of course(on/off/on /off) but that would wear out a pump in no time.
For what it's worth, maybe just something to ponder while you are figuring
out the best water heater system. It's an easy fix if it does happen anyway.
