RE: [A/S] Digest Number 1532

Bob,

It's Chevy, available on trucks and Suburbans (according to the brochures).
It isn't really that available . . . when we were looking, Dec-Feb, there
were none to be found in Southern California. All dealers will offer to
order you one, but it's huge option dollars (like 4500) so you'd want to
test one before buying. Eventually, we settled on the Avalanche 2500 (two
wheel steering) and believe it's a good choice. I'm quite proud of my
recent parking job here at Tramview Park in Palm Springs: only a 24' drive
aisle and a 35' deep space, 90 degrees, with cable TV box tight on the
highwayside and a tree on the curbside.

Who needs four wheel steering? It's probably going to break someday anyway!
