Jack,

I drove from NY to Tampa to buy the 67 Safari I used to have. It was 
much cheaper in FL. b/c there are so many down there. Another factor is 
the # of retiree's who finally sell when they can no longer tow an A/S. 
No point in towing from Oregon when you can buy off the vintage A/S club 
classified ads. Good Luck!
