For my couch, I went to a futon place and sat on a bunch of them to get 
the stiffness I wanted. Then I bought a single one, chopped off the 
corners, and built a platform to set it on. I have back cushions left 
over from a sectional couch. It's great to sit on or nap on, and with 
the cushions off, it makes a nice single bed.

I dunnno about the camping world one, but I would sit on it before you 
buy it.

The dogs nails don't bother the cork at all, he doesn't even make as 
much noise as he does in the house.

Dunno about mounting the TV..
