[A/S] Re: That Pesky Water Filter

    Hi,
I changed the filter in "Old Home On The Range" when I bought it.
The reason being the cartriges for the old one were hard to get and
expensive. The new one mounts to the wall with an "L" shaped bracket.
Two 5/16 copper tubes feed the thing. The bottom was about 1 1/2"
from the shelf under the sink. You only had to tap it lightly with
your finger to make it shake and that would have caused the copper
tubing to crack or loosen. I simply got a sponge about 3/4" thicker
than the space under the filter. I wedged it under the filter and no
shaking. We have towed the trailer many miles over rough roads. No
problem. Arnie
