[A/S] 1966 25 foot?

I am in touch with someone selling a 1966 25' trailer. The factory 
weigth charts have all even length trailers for that years.  Pictures 
are clearly an airstream.  Claims title saids 25'.  Something's 
wrong, yes?  In buying a trailer will the "title" have the serial 
number on it or someway of crosschecking that the title is good and 
goes with the trailer?  

I do tend to be detail oriented but the more you know the more you 
learn.
