Oops!!   I told you 40 hrs.   When I dicussed polishing with him at 
the International in 2002, I remembered it as ONE week full time, say 
40 hours.

I just found one of his "old" posts on this forum and in it he qoutes 
about 140 hours, big difference!  He is no longer  a member of this 
forum, I would have spotted his posts if he was.
You can't just start poilishing, there is a lot of reseach required 
first.
1) removing clear coat,
2) removing Vulkem,
3) polishers, methods, polishes, 
4) resealing joints

If you do a search for "airsteam polishing" and "aircraft polishing" 
there is lots of infomation on the web, and a lot of in it relatively 
new.  If you read enough you will find that Rolite is the polish of 
choice by most of the more recent "polishers".   It comes in three 
grades and you need them all, like sandpaper "course, medium and 
fine" but they are not called that.
