[A/S] air conditioner

Hi Patti,

No - not complaining - just grousing. <grin> One benefit of the record heat
and humidity is we had a chance to test out the A/C in this Airstream.
That's when I learned it has a feature we never had in the past.

There's a thermostat inside the a/c which tells it when to pump cold air and
when to pump plain air and when to pump no air. I didn't know about the
feature until I heard the a/c shut itself off and later turn itself back on.

Just to see if it could think on its own, I turned up the thermostat and
waited. Sure enough, it operated according to the new temperature.

Another thing that we like - this a/c is not as noisy as was the one in our
'77 31' Airstream. Sandie and I can have a conversation without shouting to
each other. And, we don't have to turn the TV volume up when the a/c is on.

At your house, I suspect your patio departure date is fast approaching. It
will probably occur a week or two after the Safari and Hensley thawing
dates. Of course, there may be a "sprucing up" date in there, too.

Cheers,

Terry
