[A/S] Fantastic Vent

Hi Gang,

When I bought my trailer it had a Fantastic Vent..... Last year I went to the 
FV booth at Sarasota and said I wanted one with a rain sensor.  The nice lady 
asked what year mine is, and I told her a 1996 and she told me it has a rain 
sensor.

Well, I had a wet bed enough times to know it didn't.  The guys came to 
inspect it and sure enough it did but it wasn't hooked up to sense rain. I 
thought that was odd at the time.

Over the past year I figgered out why it was disconnected... it will drive 
you crazy in the middle of the night going up and down with the humid nights 
in Florida..... so, this year I asked Dottie if she would have the guys 
disconnect it again.

She told me it wasn't necessary and proceeded to educate me on the use of the 
thing..... in case I'm not the only one who didn't know..........

If you want to disarm the rain sensor (I have a wall thermostat) you simply 
hit the thermostat all the way up to get the fan going.... then put the 
thermostat all the way down to start it lowering. While it's lowering grab 
the turner and make it stop turning.  Voila..... the fan keeps going, but the 
rain sensor won't work when it gets humid.  Of course you only want to do 
this when you are home, if it's going to rain.   

After she taught me I got my first quiet night's sleep, since the last rally, 
while the FV was operating.
