[A/S] Wind Turbine Generating?

Would like the good & bad input Listies of wind power as an add-on.

We are looking into the wind turbines for RVs.  We do a lot of 'RV 
independent style living' (new term I just read for boondocking or 
dry camping!), have had solar panels/invertor since fulltiming for 3 
years, and love it, er... both - I mean solar panel energy AND 
fulltiming.  We're going to Alaska this summer where we expect there 
will be a lot of days without sun.  We're musing over the idea that 
wind power might be helpful when visiting family places like Maine, 
Michigan, etc.

One of the 'cons' I learned today is the noise at night when 
sleeping.
