Yahoo breaks long URLs into two or more lines.  In this case, 
highlight the second line:

thumb=1&cat=500&si=&perpage=20&sort=2&cat=500&ppuser=155

and hit Ctrl-C to copy it to the clipboard.  Then go click on the 
first part of the URL and get the error message again.  Click behind 
the first part of the URL in the Address block and type Ctrl-V to 
paste the rest of the URL into to the block, then hit the Enter key.  
I just tried that to make sure it works.

Just something you have to get used to using Yahoo! Groups.
