Hello Dick,

The little solar panels are great! Nothing like a big panel with a 
charge controller, but just the ticket for keeping a little-used battery 
topped up. I once had a LeSharo that had a smallish panel, and it ALWAYS 
had a full-to-the-top battery. That sold me on the concept. I now have a 
couple of little 6-volt panels connected in series and hooked up 
(through a diode to prevent reverse flow of electricity when it's dark)  
to the starting battery on my Argosy motorhome. No charge controller. 
Works GREAT, I always have a full battery. If I don't get around to 
installing a larger panel for the house battery soon, I'll do the same 
thing for it. Really easy to do for the house battery. The little solar 
panel mounts on a vent that has a fan in it, and wires directly into the 
house battery via the hot wire to the  fan. eBay is a good place to find 
a good deal on the little solar panels.
