[A/S] Flooded Compartment

Thought we would share this with you.

We have a 34' Front Kitchen with rear twins. There is a rear outside
compartment that lies beneath the center nightstand and the ends of the beds.
Last night I noticed the carpeting next to the nightstand appeared damp.
Upon looking closer we found it was, along with carpeting under the front end
of the bed. It was covered with plastic so we would never have known it if
it hadn't seeped into the bedroom - (we cut through the plastic).

We went outside and checked the outside rear compartment, which is also
carpeted and covered with plastic. Everything appeared dry until we stripped
up the plastic. The carpeting was soaked. Today Leroy tore it out and found
the wood floor beneath black from moisture. If it had been particle board,
there would have been a hole there! We checked the specs and there are no
water pipes in the area. We have determined that rain has blown in around
the gasket of the compartment door.

If you have such a compartment, you might want to check and make sure it's
dry.
