Do you mean it leaks on the floor or into the tank ? Sometimes stuff 
gets stuck in the slot that the valve plate slides into and keeps it 
from sealing. They have tools but a coat hanger with a 90 degree angle 
makes a dandy tool to clean the slot out with.
