Don't get me wrong - I lived in Houston for many years and camped at 
Galveston.  I love the place.  However, don't expect too much from the Gulf.  
I also lived in the Cayman Islands where the trade winds kept the beaches 
clean and washed everything out to sea.  And we knew right where it went - to 
Galveston, TX.
