[A/S] Re: Ceiling pad dropping loose

The same thing happened in the bedroom of our recently traded 98
Excella. On the advice of the Airstream dealer in Kernersville,NC I
repaired it with contact cement. I got it at Lowes hardware along
with a small brush. (a small roller might have been better, this
stuff can be messy.) I then pulled off the plastic molding nearest
the sagging pad, painted glue on the aluminum interior ceiling and
put another coat on the pad, per the directions on the cement. Waited
a few minutes, again following the directions, then pressed the pad
back in place and smoothed it out. You have to be careful here
because once the vinyl pad touches the aluminum, it's stuck. No
second chances. We had that trailer for about a year afterwards with
no more ceiling problems.

I hope this helps,
