Hi Kelly

Since 1987 we have set up hitches etc on several hundred Astro/Safari 
Vans to tow Airstreams.  It will work quite well if properly hitched 
and the van has the correct tires/shocks etc. 

What year is your van?
What size tires do you have on it?
Have you made any modifications to it?
How many miles do you have on it?
Where will most of your towing be done?

If you look in glove box behind the consol you will see a sticker 
covered in 3 didgit codes arranged alphabetically there will be one 
there that is either GU4, GU5 or GT4.

Let me know and I can give you some idea of what you need to do to it 
and what kind of performance to expect.
