Re: [A/S] Winter furnace LPG usage



LPG (liquid petrolum gas) and butane are not the same fuels. Butane 
is in common use in warm climates, but does jell at the frezzing 
point. A complaint from returning "snowbirds" is the furnace worked 
fine in Florida and doesn't work when home in the northern states. We 
have to get the tanks in the shop, warm them up, vent off the butane 
and refill with propane. If the unit has frame mounted tanks, it is a 
bit more work. Arnie
