[A/S] Replacement heater
Hi all,
The time has come to order a heater for our 26' Argosy. As I understand
the heater BTU requirements, it is 1000 BTU per foot of trailer plus 2000
BTU. I don't remember where that formula came from (maybe Jackson Center)
but it works for the heater that is missing as the cover plate that managed
to stay with the trailer is for a 28,000 BTU heater. My question is; is a
larger heater better or worse? I can get a 40,000 BTU Suburban NT heater
for about $200.00 less than a 28,000 BTU heater. The shop that sells so
cheap does not handle the lower BTU heater. We need to have the heater
install by the end of the month as we are going to our son's graduation
from the NCO Academy in mid February.
On a different subject, we run with the Refrigerator on all the time as I
have some medication that has to stay between 36 degrees and 45
degrees. We have never had a problem.
