sorry, I must have had my head in other than this universe when I wrote that. 
of course, you are correct.
this is the reason that I level the trailer with a round bubble level on  a
shelf in the fridge.  however, you can run the fridge efficiently as long as the
bubble is touching the red circle either inside it or outside it.    at least,
in my experience I can do so.  and yes, you burp the fridge by taking it out and
turning it upside down for an hour.  actually, the time is somewhat
indeterminate as there are no gas line windows to show when the fluid is all
down at the bottom (top) of the fridge.  our go by in the early 70s was an hour
as that was the amount of time billed for the job. <G>
