You should switch the fridge to gas, that's a significant load right 
there. And, your outlet on the porch might be a long ways from the 
circuit breaker panel, wired with light-guage wire, or your service 
supply could even be lacking a bit.

If you have (for instance) only a 100-amp panel and your feed is the 
typical setup where you share a transformer with several neighbors, you 
have a handicap going in. My own service is 200 amps, fed from my own 
transformer. The latter was installed with the house electric heat in 
mind, so it's fairly heavy-duty, plus the drop is maybe 100' before the 
meter.

Installing a 30-amp outlet, connected with #10 wire, will eliminate that 
part of the voltage drop and probably get things working as they should.
