Not a bad idea Andy.  Quite honestly it doesn't mess
up the aluminum and with the proper disolving solution
the reminants that are on the glass can easily be
removed.  I might consider this method.

I never really knew what the red numbers meant prior
to becoming an owner.  I always thought they were a
serial number assigned by the factory and that some
folks were proud to display it. Sort of strange I
thought, but those folks who tow those strange
trailers probably are sort of different......
