[A/S] Rustoleum_Roof Painting

I like Jim's point about going to a marine store. I've had a steel
hull sail boat for 30 years and done a lot of painting on metal. I
really like Interlux's Interthane Plus paint. It can be rolled on with
a special sponge roller and if you want a perfect finish, tip it off
with a brush. It is a thin paint that will not crack and will move
with the expansion of the metal. It does come in light gray and also
in white. Here is the web page at West Marine for the paint

http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=13419&catalogId=10001&classNum=91&subdeptNum=11204&storeNum=4

As you will see it is $50 a quart.
Here is a description of that paint
The unique feature of Interthane Plus is that it may be brushed, rolled
or sprayed on, so—if you prefer—you can apply the finish without the
health hazards of spraying. Should not be applied directly over alkyd
enamels without first using 2100/2101 Multithyane Primer.
May be used over primed fiberglass, wood, aluminum or steel.
Unsurpassed gloss, longevity and color-retention.
For best results, use 404/414 Epoxy Primer.

I have no relationship to West Marine :-) even though they have a
good "name"
