There would have to be something more in the way of underlayment than 
is in my 85 Sovereign to keep grouted tiles in place.  I would be 
very interested in learning just what the factory is using, and how 
they are installing tile.

My new Alloc floor has no odor that I can detect, and those kind of 
floors are not glued down, or fastened in any way - they "float" on 
the subfloor.
