I think that the propane-fired furnace circulates warm air under the floor,
in the belly-pan, to keep the pipes and holding tanks from freezing... your
owner's manual might have something to say about that.

Back in the '70's when i was full-timing in the '65 Globetrotter, i was in
Santa Fe at Thanksgiving... i'd used up most of my propane preparing the
holiday meal, and the propane ran out during the night. I awoke early the
next morning with burst pipes, a cracked water-pump, and an inch of water
with a thin layer of ice over it throughout the trailer.

Radio Shack makes a battery-operated digital indoor/outdoor thermometer -
one sensor is built into the case, the 'outdoor' sensor is at the end of a
10' wire... if you run the 'outdoor' lead down into the belly pan, you'll be
able to check the temps down there at any time, from inside the trailer...

Tuna
